Who
Is The 2012 Group? And What’s The Big Deal About 2012, Anyway?

Brooke
Kenney and the late Thomas Wilson formed The 2012 Group in 1993.
Since then, we’ve been gathering information regarding the amazing
event coming on or around December 21, 2012.
For
those of you who are not familiar with the significance of 2012,
here’s a short explanation: The basis of this event lies in the
Mayan calendar, in which time, as we understand it, comes to an
end and a major shift occurs in human consciousness. Will this
be the end of the world? Or, is it the beginning of a new world?
Some believe that the shift will reveal the 4th dimension (time)
or maybe the 5th dimension (unity with the unseen Spirit World/Heaven).
My spirit guide, Dew has told
of a time, near the end of time, when inanimate objects will come
to life, including stones, and that our animals will speak to
us, to prove God’s dominion on earth.
It
is our intended goal to help everyone prepare for what could possibly
be the greatest event modern man has ever experienced. It’s not
intended to make an apocalyptic prediction (we don’t need more
of those). It’s just something that has gotten our attention that
has potentially significant meaning for all of humanity.

First,
we recognize that, to anyone seeing this information for the first
time, it probably comes off as being a little like the Y2k scare
in 2000 or the Hale Bopp fears in 1996-97. And to be completely
honest, no one “knows” anything. All we are looking at are signs.
The first sign is that the amazingly accurate Mayan calendar comes
to an end on December 21, 2012 (Gregorian calendar). Calendars
aren’t supposed to do that. Second, we absolutely know, based
on scientific knowledge, that there will be major astrological
conjunctions occurring at once on that date. And third, that the
sun is going to once again shift its magnetic poles and hammer
the earth with massive amounts of energy.
Most
of what we’re basing our theories on is spiritual intuition, though,
and not ours alone, but those of many associates and prominent
“seers” who all believe that we were put here to witness something
poignant and transformational. But, we don’t intend to turn you
into believers. Do some research yourself. We’ve added a number
of links that go into great detail about this subject, including
the mechanics of the Mayan calendar. So educate yourself and make
up your own mind. To get started, here’s a brief summary of what
we have learned so far:
We
are in the final “room” of the last “house” of the Mayan calendar.
Several predicted events have already occurred that are leading
up to some main event. Several independent sources have reported
what could be devastating possibilities for the Earth and for
us, her inhabitants. (For example, while Diane and I were at Crater
National Park a few years ago, the guide told us that his son,
who works for the NSA, told him that NASA is tracking an asteroid,
scheduled to make close contact with earth in — 2012.)
Recent
reports of the sun changing its magnetic poles and huge bursts
of energy hitting the Earth are to be repeated in 2012. Plus,
there are the ongoing measurements of Earth’s magnetic fields,
which appear to be speeding up, which could lead to a polar shift.
There
are legends of indigenous cultures
from across the globe that point to 2012 as being very significant.
At the bottom of this column you can see a list of them. And the
entire Maori legend is in the right column.
Scientifically,
astronomers have shown that our sun and planet will be in perfect
alignment with the center of the Milky Way on December 21, 2012.
This event only occurs every 26,625 years. For those who require
concise information regarding the Mayan Calendar, go to the Terrance
McKenna “Final Illusion” link at the bottom of the right
column. Look for the link at the top of his page titled “December
21 of 2012 AD”. Once
there, look for the article by John Major Jenkins regarding the
mathematics that determines the date.
On
the “Coast-To-Coast AM” radio program, the date comes up repeatedly
during interviews mainly revolving around the subject of earth
changes; such as increased melting of the poles, magnetic and
equatorial shifts and the potential flooding of the coastal regions
around the world.
2012
keeps popping up in many ways. Pay attention and see for
yourself. If you hear of anything new in the media about 2012,
or if you come from a culture that has a legend regarding 2012,

Let
it be known, that besides the possible devastating events predicted
by some, there is also an equal chance that humanity will witness
a remarkable event. But will we be prepared? It’s time for humanity
to wake up and function from a point of love and hope instead
of greed and fear. Because in the end, “the love you take is
equal to the love you make”.

Another
Idea About The Actual End Date.
|
|
The
Mayan calendar comes to its conclusion on December 21, 2012. But
in my spiritual practice, I’ve been impressed with another date,
December 12, 2012, nine days before the Mayan date. Then one night
I was shown a door in a dream. The door began to open on December
03, 2012 and closed on December 30, 2012. As you will no doubt
note, there are four important dates between December 03 and December
30, each one nine days apart. In numerology, the number 9 is a
“prime” number, significant in transitions. I believe whatever
is going to happen will actually begin in a small way on December
03, gaining momentum towards December 12, the majority effect
to occur on December 21 and a last chance on December 30.
These
dates might relate to the readiness of individuals to let go of
“reality” and embrace the “new reality”. Or it might be the cycles
when earth changes occur. Who knows for sure? I suppose it may
be possible that whatever happens might be incredibly subtle or,
one must be open to the possibility, that absolutely nothing will
happen, except that a whole lot of people will be more attuned
spiritually. But the stars and events seem to be aligning for
a reason. Sadly, I have to say that I trust the stars and my guides
more than I trust any of our leaders or the mainstream media.
So choose your side and see where it takes you.

Friend, Bonita Ananda’s Take On 2012. |

Bonita
lives in Coon Rapids, Minnesota with her husband, and my oldest
friend, Mark. She has been studying and working with the Mayan
calendar since 1987. In 1988, Bonita and Richard Eagle (who broke
the code and developed a “matrix” that could be used to align
Gregorian calendar dates with Tzolkin Calendar dates) began working
with Jose Arguelles (the author/teacher that brought the Mayan
calendar into the mainstream) to distribute 10,000 Dreamspell
games to help teach the calendar to those were ready to learn.
Since then, Bonita has maintained a 260-day journal based on the
Mayan calendar and has discovered many interesting correlation
to current events. Footnote: Jose
Arguelles is working to have the 13-month calendar adopted worldwide.

I
believe that 2012 is ushering in the end of a cycle, within time,
that we are unable to consciously recognize. It is important to
note that when I use the word “believe” it simply means I have
an informed “notion” based on my own experience. I have very few
absolute beliefs, and the word notion doesn’t convey my true experience,
but I think you get the idea.
I
believe that this “shift” is a galactic shift and that our solar
system, the planets within our solar system and the inhabitants
of the planets, are all part of this experience. I believe that
another level of experience is opening that is beyond our ability,
at this time, to recognize. And I believe that this experience
is in process now, and will continue to unfold as we approach
2012, and beyond.
On
December 21, 2007, we will have 5 years remaining in this 26,000
year cycle through time. This Great Cycle ends December 21, 2012.

but fascinating.) We inhabit an Infinitely expanding Universe
of Infinite possibilities. How can we know?
I
believe that the Maya (as well as many other ancient and informed
civilizations who preceded us in wisdom) knew of a reoccurring
cycle within the space/time continuum that was of such significance
that they created a vast map through time to trace its trajectory.
The Mayan Calendar Great Cycle is one of these maps. We have been
left with the calendars, myths, rituals, science and the FOG of
our own lost wisdom. I believe that this FOG is part of the experience.
Preceding wisdom (which includes the ancient Mayans) recognized
that this FOG would occur, and we, the inhabitants of the future,
were left these ancient “maps” to allow us a way to recapture,
re-remember and prepare. Perhaps we are not meant to remember
until an exact moment.
I
FEEL and KNOW THIS. It is in my sense of myself. It is a strange
place to be... knowing you cannot recognize what you know you
know! I have somehow been given a small glimpse beyond the FOG
we inhabit. I think this is why I understand the Mayan Calendar
(to the extent that I do). There is no particular reason why Bonita
was able to recognize this when others were not as easily able
to access its meaning. So, I remain in an informed sense of recognizing
my own FOG. Some of the FOG has lifted in the past 18 years and
I have a much larger picture in my mind of what is occurring.
I can only assume that process will continue.

Indigenous
Cultural Similarities.
There
are striking parallels between a diversity of cultures relating
to 2012 and there are many world views available to
us all if we’re willing to listen. Many different traditions
speak about 2012 in the beliefs and prophesies of their cultures.
Here
are a few: The
Hopi predict a 25-year period of purification
followed by the End of Fourth World and the beginning of the Fifth.
Mayan call it the ‘end days’.
Maori say that as the veils dissolve there will
be a merging of the physical & spiritual worlds. (See the
entire legend in the right column) Zulu believe
that the whole world will be turned upside down.
Hindu Kali Yuga (end time of man). The Coming
of Kali & critical mass of Enlightened Ones. Inca call
it the ‘Age of Meeting Ourselves Again’. Aztec
call this the Time of the Sixth Sun. A time of transformation
and creation of new race. Dogon
say that a spaceship of the visitors, the Nommo, will return in
the form of a blue star. Pueblo acknowledge
the emergence into the Fifth World. Cherokee
calendar also ends at 2012. Tibetan
Kalachakra teachings left by Buddha predict the Coming of the
Golden Age. Egyptian Great
Pyramid (stone calendar), time cycle also ends in 2012.
UFO
Contact. The truth revealed.
Recently
we have heard of at least two countries (Mexico and France) releasing
all UFO information to the public. In fact, the Mexican government
released video footage, taken by their army, of several UFOs over
Mexico City, saying it is time for countries to admit the reality
of Star Visitors. Also, the ex-govenor of Arizona has finally
admitted that he saw, firsthand, the UFO which flew over Nevada
and Phoenix, Arizona in 1997. All we can hope is that more information
is revealed. Personally, I think this is just the beginning of
the breathtaking revelations we can expect in the near future.
How
does this relate to 2012? Well, it is thought by some that the
Mayans had contact with extraterrestrials, and it was through
that contact that they gained much of their knowledge of time
and the heavens.
What
other seemingly unrealted stories and legends are actually related

| 2012/Time
Wave Information From A Well-Known And Respected Physicist And Humanitarian. |
We
suggest you find a copy of Peter Russell’s book “A White
Hole In Time”, published in 1993 (the book is currently out-of-print
but Amazon.com has used copies available). In 1996, Peter published
“Waking Up In Time” that is an update of sorts to “White
Hole”. In the book, Mr. Russell describes scientific events
leading to a single monumental event, from the birth of our solar
system, to some critical mass in 2012, using what he calls the “Time
Spiral” to track events across time. It shows how even evolution
is speeding up - leading to an eventual “zero point”,
much like Terrance McKenna concluded.
Not
only do Russell’s books deal with the subject of 2012, but
also with technology, ecology and human relationships in this
rapidly changing and troubled period in world history.

As
mentioned earlier, the year 2012 keeps coming up in the media
for various upcoming events. Whether it’s the Kyoto Accords, the
Olympics in London, the target date for numerous political reforms
or discussions about planetary or solar system changes, the media
is catching on to 2012.
More
often, it’s in the fringe media that you repeatedly hear this
date come up. Coast-To-Coast AM has been a hotbed of information
(some of it not exactly very well-grounded) covering cataclysmic
earth changes (comets, asteroids, super volcanoes, nuclear mishaps)
spiritual revelations, time travel, the alien agenda and numerous
theories, including the behind-the-scenes control of “The Illuminati”
to squelch (or push forward for its own purposes) the transformation
process.
Keep
your eyes and ears open. The media is beginning to focus their
attention. But also be wary of disinformation.
There are many people in high places who would prefer things to
stay just the way they are, and not to break through to a higher
reality. The term we’ve heard for these people is “Time Bandits”
because it’s their aim to derail whatever events are coming, so
that we remain trapped under their control. Our advice:
Keep an open mind and continue to work on every aspect of your
spiritual self, starting with letting go of fear and of “things”.
Then no one can control you or hold you back.

March
19, 2007, author Whitley Strieber (Wolfen, Communion, Majestik
and The Key) announced his latest book, as well as
plans for a movie based upon it. The title “2012: the

ran a rather lengthy article exploring all the hubub around 2012
and interviewed several of the key figures in this knowledge,
such as John Major Jenkins, José Arguilles and Daniel Pinchbeck,
among others, including those who don't agree. Below you will

Recent
Developments. It
has come to our attention recently that the travel industry is jumping
on the 2012 bandwagon. We had an opportunity to talk with a corporate
travel agent who seemed very aware of the significance of the date
and reported that various cruises and tours are already being organized
for the 2012 event.
Some
tours are headed towards Fiji, to view a comet that will
be seen only in that part of the world. Others are being booked
to sacred sites around the globe.
Naturally,
there will be tours to the Mayan sacred capitols, but we have
heard of trips headed to New Zealand, to be among the Maori, special
tours to Lhasa in Tibet, Macchu Picchu in Peru and the Great Pyramids
in Cairo. We think this is completely in line, and in synch, with
the idea of a spiritual connection to this event.
Now
is the time to be thinking where you want to be in December
of 2012, and who you want to be with. This is not
like 1999. It will not be a huge global drinking party. This is
about the transformation of the human race as a whole. Tap into
your innermost feelings. Where on earth do you want to be when
Heaven appears? What resonates with your Spirit? Wherever you
decide, go in peace. |
| What
The Maori Elders Say. |
|
There
are some old Maori legends that speak of the reunification of
‘Rangi’ (the Sky) and ‘Papa’ (the Earth).
This
one basically flows from a Maori Creation Legend. In short, Rangi
(the Sky) and Papa (the Earth) were partners and were closely
clasped together. They had a number of children, who lived in
between these two parents, squashed and without light. One day
these children (who were all Gods by the way - God of the Wind,
God of the Sea, God of War, etc.) decided to push their parents
apart so they could have room to move. They all tried and failed,
until one of the Gods, Tane, pushed them apart, separated them,
and there was light.
The
other, more secretive legend, that follows from this says that
there will come a time when the children of Tane (that’s you and
me) are so busy, so distracted with fighting, with greed, with
lust, etc., so separated from our original parents that we will
have lost our links with the natural order of things and that
Rangi and Papa will take that opportunity - while no one is looking
- to quickly come back together, destroying everything in the
process. There has been much meditation done on this event and
2012 seems to be the year the old people come up with.
When
asked, a few of the ‘kaumatua’ (tribal elders) had firm ideas
of what they see happening in 2012. One said “Ka hinga te arai”...
the rest nodded in agreement. Here’s what that means:
hinga
= to fall
arai
= curtain
These
are the modern interpretations of those two words. What he said
is basically,“The curtain will fall”. One could easily deduce
he meant a “Final curtain” end-of-the-world sorta thing. Modern
Maori is just like modern English... it changes over time, the
meanings of words alter and get reinterpreted as time goes by.
This kaumatua (elder) is an “old school” Maori... knowledgeable
in the ancient ways, the old ways, the old original language...
or “tuturu Maori” as it is called, which basically means “original
Maori”. Anyway, in original Maori, those two words (hinga and
arai) mean slightly different things.
hinga
= to dissolve/to be removed/to fade
arai
= veil/thin separation
“Arai”
is the main word there to look at. When people die, Maori say
they have gone “ki muri i te arai” ...they have gone “behind the
veil”... passed over so to speak. So in that sense, “arai” actually
means like a “separator” between the physical world/plane and
the spiritual world/plane.
So
- “ka hinga te arai” in old Maori means the removal/dissolving
of the planes separator... basically the MERGING of the physical
and spiritual planes.
